Axelor - All-in-one format to edit report

Hi All,
I have installed the all-in-one Axelor format on my laptop.
Will like to know whether it is possible to use edit the report in birt format with this.
Couldn’t find the « modules » structure under the « All-in-one ».

It is possible to edit the BIRT reports even in the auto-installer (formerly, All-in-one). The BIRT report files are located in the « report » folder of the specific module’s JAR file. After extracting and installing Axelor using the autoInstaller, these JAR files can be found in the location « axelor-erp/var/www/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib. »

To modify the BIRT report, you can follow these steps:

  1. Extract the BIRT report file from the « report » folder in the module’s JAR.
  2. Make the desired changes to the BIRT report.
  3. Replace the existing report file in the JAR with the updated version, ensuring it has the same file name and location as before.

However, please note that this process is discouraged due to the fact that it involves modifying the content of JAR files. Altering JAR files can lead to potential issues and may not be the recommended approach for customization.

If possible, it is advised to explore alternative methods for customizing BIRT reports that do not involve directly editing JAR files to maintain a stable and supportable system.

In Axelor, BIRT reports are usually stored in the webapp/WEB-INF/reports directory. You can access them through the Axelor application by navigating to Administration > General Configuration > Reports.
To edit a BIRT report, you need to have a BIRT Report Designer installed on your computer. You can download the BIRT Report Designer from the Eclipse website (BIRT BIRT | BIRT). Once you have the designer installed, you can open the .rptdesign files from the webapp/WEB-INF/reports directory in the designer and make your changes.
