Field Date Time Retrieve only the year

Hello, I would like to be able via a Date Time Field to Retrieve only the year of this field and display it in another field of my view in non-editable. Is it possible on the view side via XML or do I have to go through JAVA code? Thank you for your answers.

Hello

Default date format is DD/MM/YYYY only. But Date format is fetched from browser locale. So choose another variant of English that corresponds to your date preference on your specific browser.
For example English (India) will use DD/MM/YYYY format.

Can you check the date format for the language which has been on the top of this list ? Or Can you set the English (India) at the top in the list just for the testing ?
