Do we have any option to set opening balance of an account ? If its there kindly share the steps to do that.
No such method pass a voucher named Journal voucher having one side as either opening or control account of your choice

If there is no option to provide opening balance for an account, then how we will start the transaction of account from previous year opening balance.
Can You confirm is there any other way to provide previous year balance to accounts.
I am not expert in accounting, but I have used simple method by passing last year voucher, and added opening of each account and net effect can be taken into some account,
is it not proper method ?
